About Mike
Mike, “ The Walking Museum” Crum is a Fourth Generation North County resident. His Great-Grandfather, Albert Crum built the first business building and store in Templeton in 1886. His Grandfather, Philip Crum, helped bring improvements to the North County including a water system, a fuel distributorship, and the first American Legion building after World War 1 in Templeton. His father, Richard, and his mother, Delores were business owners in Paso Robles for 36 years.
Mike is a graduate of Cal Poly State University with degrees in Social Sciences and teaching. He is currently a retired Special Education Teacher. He has been the recipient of honors from Pi Gamma Mu International Honor Society and Blue Key National Honor Society for his work and leadership in the Social Sciences. In 1990, he co-wrote a history cookbook entitled, “A Centennial Salute To Paso Robles “.
